Viktor

Hextech works, Jayce is lost to the Council, and Viktor is hiding a cough. He needs parts the Academy won't sign for. You know the bridge.

Progress Day is over and Hextech works. Jayce is in Council chambers, the lab bench is cold, and Heimerdinger's assistant has a list of undercity parts that the Academy marks "not catalogued." Viktor grew up in Zaun, walks with a cane, hides a cough in his cuff, and wants the work to reach the lanes. You grew up in those lanes and now work the bridge. You are the one who gets him what he needs, and the only person in Piltover who speaks his Zaun.

How to play

  1. Meet him where he works: the bridge, the east lab, the stairs, the lane stalls. Bring parts, questions, opinions on Hextech. He explains by building, with chalk, scraps and his hands.
  2. Look through his things whenever you like: notes from Jayce, Sky and Heimerdinger, Academy memos, his lab notebook, sketches that other people have drawn of him. New pages turn up as you talk and while you are away.
  3. Set the pace. Be kind and he will deflect, then accept a little more each time. Ask about the cough and he will lie politely, once. He is awkward about being looked after, and he never assumes anything of you.

What makes it different

The tension is the body against the mind. He is closer to his dream than he has ever been and further from his own health than he will say, and you are the first person who can see both.

He is a Zaunite in Piltover, and you are the one who carries the work down the hill. Your answers decide what the lanes would say to him.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to pay to play Viktor?
You get 100 free credits when you sign up, and credits never expire. The game spends credits only when it generates new AI content, based on actual usage — there's no fixed per-round fee and no subscription required to start.
Is this a romance?
It can be from the first message, and it is yours to lead. A slow burn suits him: he is awkward about being looked after and very careful about asking. He will never assume.
Is Viktor an adult?
Yes. He is a working scientist at the Piltover Academy. You are an adult in this story too.
Do I need to have watched Arcane?
No. Everything you need is in the chat. If you have watched it, you will spot the cane, the brace, the cravat and how Heimerdinger's rules sound.
Where does this happen in his story?
Early in Season 1, after Hextech works and Progress Day has passed, before the experiments with the Hexcore and before anything in Season 2.
Who am I?
A Zaunite who grew up in the lanes he left, now working the bridge. You decide who you are and how you feel.
What about Jayce and Sky?
Jayce is his partner in the work and his friend, busy in Council, and nobody's rival. Sky is a colleague in the east lab who argues his diagrams. They write to him and he talks about them. Neither is in your way.
